For Recy, Carol and the rest,
We understand that we may not be able to be
physically together in the upcoming 25th year reunion for reasons beyond
our control. To follow-up Carol's suggestion (and generous offer to
classmates especially in California), we would suggest that you guys have
get-together on the same date we here in Olongapo are having the reunion
then we'll get in touch thru cyber-space. We can either chat using the
internet or better yet, we'll provide live video streams while we are
having one party going on in three or four different places of the globe.
This could be a first in SJS history and we have the know-how, the
equipment, and "the will" to do it.
John Salonga we are happy for you, follow the
Calling, we sure hope to have a Priest in our group. Right now we
have Pastors and Ministers in the person of Alfredo Morales Cabbab,
Benigno Jobenal Panis and Roel Ronquillo Dabu

information about our classmates we gathered during the 8 Nov meeting,
present whereabouts of most of our classmates are posted in
list of SJS School Year 1977-1978

from among our batch already joined our Creator, here's the list that we

happy to hear from some of our classmates...the sad
thing is that I would not be able to join the celebration sa december....hard
to get a flight, peak season and walang available seat kasi less airlines
ang papuntang Phils.
I saw Betong sa mall and mentioned to him ang dates ng reunion-- they are
planning to go but December next year- i gave him the site address.
Lye, I rang Mila-- I was told that she's staying with her brother Pasas
(Simon) in Melbourne. I rang her twice, spoke to her son and daughter on
separate occassions-- I was told she's away-- sa Bali daw-- haven't heard
from her yet. I left a message kay Rey Buto--masyadong busy-- will ring
him again later... I'm trying to get hold of Nelson's new address and
phone number so I can contact him....
 
I hope there will be a lot na classmates na mag- attend- so it will be
fun--
I'll try and send pictures of my family and tell Rey J, Betong, Nelson and
Mila to do the same.....

Mga classmates,
Kamusta na kayong lahat. Wala pa akong naririnig mula sa mga lV-E dito sa States. Alam ko si Imelda ay nasa San Francisco, Si Febe and Babes ay nasa San Diego.
I'm really sorry na hindi ako makakauwi. December 27 ay Olongapo City
Fiesta dito sa San Diego at induction ng aking mother as President.
 
 Suggestion duon sa mga katulad ko na hindi makakauwi. Kung nandito kayo sa California ( or kung nasaan man kayong State)mag mini-reunion nalang tayo, nandito ako sa Murrieta, an hour away from San Diego, dito natin gawin sa bahay ko, free food and lodging, ang importante ay magkita kita tayo.
Edwin, nakakainggit ang inyong mga meeting at preparation diyan.
Suggestion siguro maganda kung magkaroon tayo ng parang souvenir program
pagkatapos ng reunion ang printing para lahat ng event at lahat ng
litrato na makukuha ay makasama.
Congratulations sa mga classmate na nag retired sa Navy. I'm all very
proud of you. Nag retired na rin ang mister ko after 25 years last
October 1st.
Arnold and Lye, kamusta na kayo, ilan na ang naging anak ninyo?
magpapadala ako ng picture sa e-mail. tatlong babae ang aking anak, they are
9, 8 and 3 1/2 years old.
Recy, kamusta na, keep in touch.

Nasaan si John Salonga? remeber John nandoon kami ni Lyla Munchal ng
nag graduate ka sa Boot Camp mannnny years ago.

Ay akala ko si Pete Basillio yon, nataon pa kasi na
birthday nya yong date ng North California reunion kaya I presumed na sya
yon, thanks for info.
Nagpunta na dito si Roger Magbutay kahapon, dami nga nya kilala dito, (pwede
na rin kumandedato sa susunod na election he he he). Sasama sya sa planing
meeting on Saturday sa Oceanview, dry run na siguro ng reunion yon.
We'll send you pics of that affair and will bring camera sa visits to our
classmates places.
Hintayin namin kayo, miss na rin kayo nila mareng edith at janet.

kumusta na kayong lahat! andito ako sa oxnard, ca at
nai-inggit sa mga uuwi sa reunion natin. nagkita-kita na kami nila abe
burns, tong at luz dito. si jojo fantone naman eh! malapit lang dito
nakatira sa amin. sayang at hindi kami maka-uwi. paki-post na lang ng mga
pictures or videos sa website para makita namin dito. ingat at good luck
sa inyong mga pagpapaguran. sana maging pinaka-masaya ang reunion natin. |

Pareng Edwin,
Just to inform you, the ph number posted under Pareng Pete Basilio is not
a good number. Kapareho lang ng pangalan. Isa pang suggestion, kung mag
babahay kayo, it'll be great to videotape our klasmeyts or just take some
pictures para sa VCD natin.

Hi Jim, glad to hear everything is fine with you.
Hindi ka pa rin nagbabago, you still look the same as when we were in 3rd
year ang nagbago lang ay ang edad natin. Maganda ang design mo sa T-shirt
ng reunion baka naman puwedeng bumili kahit na hindi kami maka attend.
That will be a big help for the reunion if all of our classmates outside
Pinas will buy a t-shirt (1 or 2) for a little bit higher price plus
shipping. What do you guys think? It will be nice to have a remembrance.
Jim, meron ka bang information kay Jessie? Any info. will be helpful. O

WOW ngayon pa lang excited na kami sa souvenir
VCD! Great idea!
Di pa nagpapakita si Roger Magbutay, pag iigihin namin paghahanap para sa
Sabado ay makasama namin sa meeting, di ko alam na nakauwi na sya, sayang
siguro nandoon yon sa puntod ng tatay n'ya kahapon, napuntahan ko sana.
Tanong ng tropa kung okay lang i-attach na lang sa e-mail yung video clips
at pictures? wag lang siguro masyado malaking file ano?
Sa mga magpapadala thru Fedex, advise nyo ako, meron tayong 25% to 50%
discount depende sa weight.
After the Saturday meeting siguro, we'll have
clearer picture kung ilan ang sasama, we here have agreed to make house
visits to our classmates to ensure that they are informed (and persuade
them to join). That is aside from the invitational postcards we sent thru
mail. To those who are overseas specially in US mainland, please try to
give us update if ever you contacted somebody from our batch. The
last one we contacted just last week was John Salonga.

Sa mga klasmeyts na nasa labas ng Pilipinas, kung di
kayo makakauwi ay pwede sanang magpadala kayo ng maikling video o kahit
litrato sa email ko o sa koreo (PSC 812 Box 3210 FPO AE 09627). I-eedit ko
kasama ng reunion at para magkaroon tayo ng souvenir VCD.
Edwin-Pwede bang malaman kung ilan na ang nag-sign up?

Hello Abraham,
Greetings! To you and to your family
I received your message pare last week pacencya ka na bro medyo nagging
busy ako dito sa pag-oorganize ng ating reunion malapit na. I hope
makapunta kayo rito sa Pilipinas at masaksihan ang ating affair.
Si Jessie nga pala ay nasa states na rin at si Greg naman ay nasa Saudi,
si Jerry andito lang. I have 3 kids and my wife from Columban College
batch ’86. I’ve been working in SBMA kaya lagi akong nasa field. Sa
ngayon mahirap ang buhay kayat meron akong konting sideline, artworks n
decors pero dito lang sa bahay wala akong pwesto at kami lang ng aking
pamilya ang nagtutulungan.
I hope sa susunod ay tuloy-tuloy ang ating communication. Marami kang
ikukuwento sa akin at ganun din naman ako lalo na sa mga ka batch natin.
Thanks for remembering our high school days.

some or few still remember me, Nagaral ako sa SJS from elementary till
3rd year high at sa manila ako nag4th yrs(rosevelt college) I was
wondering kung pupuwede lang makuha ang mga address at telephone
of the following people. Dick Puno,bilog , Si arthur(ins)   
At Philippides Merin. Im here nga pala sa
France since 1988 at bumalik ako just last summer with my family. Dumaan
kami sa SJS at nakausap ko si Mr.Segundo at Mrs. Redon, I agreed si
Mr.Segundo never change. for the class reunion sayang napaaga ang dating

Congratulations for a successful reunion. Its
Saturday evening here and
I just talked to my mother and she told me about the warm hospitality
you have given her. She was very honored and humbled. I told her that we
were classmates and you were so quiet then. E-mail me some photos if
you can.
Regarding our class 78 reunion,I told my Mom to give you 1,000 pesos
for my donation. Please add this to your funds and use it for anything
that you might need. Unfortunately I won't be able to go home but let me
know what I can do. |

Here are some updates that I know for now.
Roger Magbutay just retired last month here in Italy, He will be home for
the reunion, Jen Egana is retiring this year, Orly De Castro Juan Salonga
don't know if they are still in active duty, Rodel and Rommel are in San
Diego. Rey Jardiniano, Recy and Nelson Magdalera are in Australia, The
Coronel twins, Erly Dimen, Diana Manding, Jojo Fantone, Grace and Janet is
in Frisco. That's all I know for now and hoping that I can take leave this
Holiday so I can join you guys. Regards to Mareng Edith and the kids and
pass my warm regards to all the salamism on your next scheduled meeting
